First came Graham and Jeff, two friends and colleagues who shared a geeky disposition for taking their passions in things such as Craft Beer way too far. This resulted in Red Rage, the first beer they made in their home-brewing system, found in Graham’s backyard, literally in his Tool Shed. Their dedication, perseverance, respect, and gratitude not only to their families and friends for their support, but farmers and the greater provincial community as a whole never skipped a beat. Playing a significant role in the growth of the Craft Beer scene in Alberta, the Tool Shed team has morphed from their humble beginnings into a brewery located in the Franklin Industrial area in NE Calgary. Numbering over 30 employees, with 4 core beers representing the brand and several seasonal ones on rotation, it is evident that what happens in a Tool Shed doesn’t stay in a Tool Shed! Open daily, their Tap Room has a seat with your name on it to try the many varieties they have on tap. Saturdays have you enjoying a tour of the brewery if you so desire.
