Stone Wood & Steel offers traditional blacksmithing experiences, located on an organic garlic farm bordering Kananaskis Country in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Stone Wood & Steel is a family-run blacksmith studio offering hands-on experiences to forge contemporary and traditional pieces with steel and fire. Try your hand at applying traditional blacksmithing techniques in a small group setting, taught by a member of the Blacksmith team. All full-day experiences are offered year-round and immerse guests in learning the craft overlooking the mountains. Individual courses and tailor-made packages are available to suit groups of up to 8 for every occasion including family days out, dates, Team-Building, family days, stag, and stagettes. Their services also include designing, custom fabrication, refurbishing salvaged pieces, and installation of your one-of-a-kind functional piece of art.
